umbrella – No body want to think about it raining on their RV trip but sometimes even the best plans fail…. Extension cord – This is a good idea to have to plug in lights or a fan. Fan – This is a lifesaver during the Summer, bonus if you can find a solar powered fan, perfect for dry camping. Alarm clock – This is a great idea as a back up in case your phone fails. Having several layers will make for the most comfortable trips. bedding –Make sure you pack layers for your bedding. Sleeping bag – I would suggest you pack one extra sleeping bag, this will cover any accident or soiled bags. This is life changing, for under $20, get an amazing lantern without the hassle of batteries. lantern– I have recently brought the rechargeable lantern from Costco…. Flashlight/batteries – This is always important to have on hand just in case, especially for any late night RV troubleshooting. FREE RV CHECKLIST PROFESSIONAL
Camera/batteries – If you are bringing a professional camera, make sure you bring extra batteries and a charger. Bug Spray– This is a MUST, nothing can ruin a camping trip quicker that being surrounded by bugs. Backpack – If you are planning any hiking or day trios while camping, you will want a backpack for water, snacks and other essentials for the day. I suggest you buy the $5 Walmart cloths that a felt lined, they will last the whole summer. I have bought the Dollar Tree ones many times and they will rip within the first 10 min. Table Cloth – Don’t skip on the quality of these. You many also want to pack more than one table, one for eating and one for prepping food and grilling. Outdoor Folding Table – Same for tables, these will sometime be forgotten because we forget we have taken them out. 
Folding Chairs – This is a given, but often forgotten, as many people will pull these from the RV for things like sporting events or when having company over and forget to put them back. Map – This is sort of a follow up to #1, incase you are not able to get GPS service, you may need to go old school and reference a may if you get lost. You may want to have things like barcodes, confirmation numbers or campsites ready in picture form to reference incase you will not be able to pull them up when you arrive. We would have a full truck and hitch utility trailer packed with chairs, table, coolers, bikes, grill…. I remember when we went tent camping for the first time with 6 kids and I swear it looked like we were moving.
